I interviewed Stephanie Gayle, Author of Idyll Fears

I’m behind on posts, per us… yooj? (Not sure how to translate the slang, but I’m not alone).

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to interview my friend and fellow Novel Incubator alum Stephanie Gayle about the second book in her Thomas Lynch Mystery Series. Thomas Lynch is a great, complicated lead, and an openly gay police chief. Thrills ensue. Friends. This is exciting. I loved the first book, Idyll Threats, so I asked her if she’d let me interview her for the release of the new book in this series, Idyll Fears. I also selfishly asked her to break down the difference between mystery, thriller, and suspense. I asked a lot of questions that she kindly answered.

Not only is Stephanie a terrific storyteller, she’s also funny as hell, loves Solid Gold, has amazing style, and is a savant when it comes to calculating the tip on my checks. She’s a solid human being.

You can read the interview over at Dead Darlings, where I miss most of my blog post deadlines and end up reposting something instead.
